Baby Laines-35 Weeks

Happy Rosh Hashanah!!!

(no I'm not jewish, but my calendar told me what today is :D)

How far along: 35 weeks :)

Baby's size: He is the size of a LARGE cantaloupe :D around 19-22 inches & almost 6 lbs (don't you think if he's already 6 pounds he can get out now??)

Miss Anything: Well yesterday I missed beer, so the husband made me a FAKE michelada which is a michelada with O'douls and it does supress the craving!  AND I still miss being comfortable!

Best moment this week:  knowing that we are NOW less then 5 weeks (pleaseeeeeee Carter come on TIME)

Movement: Yep, he moves around in there LOTS I think I've started to become immune to it, it's funny!  BUT I still LOVE it!!

Food cravings: Hmmm...nothing really...still sweets!  Whyyyyyy are they sooooo good!  OHHH but I think the Husband has FINALLY hit is pregnancy cravings because I think every single day he tells me how "this one thing would taste AMAZING" he was even mad at the TV the other day for playing a McDonalds commercial because he's been thinking about one all week...he makes me laugh!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing really, besides randomly feeling like I'm gonna get sick, but still never do.

Maternity Clothes: Yepppp all dayyyyyyy everyyyyyy dayyyyyyy can't wait to wear regular clothes again!

Stretch marks: I feel like I'm going to get some, and I have been so careful this whole time...sometimes though I think I see some, and then realize it's just the lines from my pants!

Symptoms I HAVE:  Big BELLY!  Being tired allllllllllll the time, and sometimes I'm awfully cranky :(

Doctor’s Appointment:  Had one on Friday, and they did an ultrasound because their doppler wasn't working and they couldn't hear his heartbeat, I wasn't too worried though because at that exact moment I could feel him moving around like crazy so CLEARLY he was alive!  BUT it was cool to see him again, and see how BIG he is!  His head now took up the ENTIRE screen, and he is head down!  No wonder I randomly have to pee RIGHT NOW! :D

What I'm looking forward to:  our last baby shower, maternity leave, and FINALLY getting to see our babies face!  I watched the kardashians last night and it made my eyes water when she holds her baby...eeek so exciting to finally meet the baby that has been living inside you all these months :D

Gender: BOY!!!

Wedding rings on or off: on and still fitting like normal :)

Happy or Moody most of the time: Sometimes, I get randomly cranky ESPECIALLY if I'm HOT!!  OMG!!  This weather has NOT helped ONE bit!!  NOT one, and I feel like I'm going to pass out, precisely why the husband and I stayed home all weekend inside our air conditioned house and it was AMAZING!

Sleep: Yuckkkk, I've noticed that if I take a shower before going to sleep I usually only wake up once at night but if I don't take a shower I wake up 5-6 times, I gotta keep remembering that!  Wonder when I'll be able to sleep again?  Maybe in a year?

When things don't go your way

Don't you hate it when you wake up on what feels like the wrong side of the bed?

I hate when I feel like it's going to be a bad day even before I get out of bed....

This morning when I woke up I realized that I had over slept and had only 1/2 hour to get ready for work, AND I still had to take a shower and wash my hair (all because I didn't do it last night) -.-

I jumped out of bed (when I say jump i mean, got out of bed as slowly as possible, because it hurts to get out of bed too fast) and jumped in the shower!

I got ready and was out the door, Ohhh ummm only about ten minutes behind what is "normal" time for me to leave....you see USUALLY on Friday's traffic to work is not that bad, it usually doesn't start until I leave work, which is understandable it's Friday, everyone's trying to get home whatev....BUT this morning, oh you would be happy to find out that there was a RIDICULOUS amount of traffic!  RIDICULOUS!!  

AND while I was driving to work I got a SUPER weird call from a number that looked something like this 

Really?  Who could that possibly be?  So weird, OF COURSE I didn't answer it I mean hello, who calls at 8:10 am from a number like that?  Probably one of those dumb solicitors that I don't want to talk to ummm EVER and ESPECIALLY not on a Friday morning when I'm already LATE to work!!  SO I forwarded to voicemail!

I ended up getting to work 1/2 hour late!!  >.<  So annoyed I rushed to my desk!  AND then you know what happened?  I checked that voicemail and ohhhh it was just the doctors office telling me that "your appointment for today has been cancelled"  left the number to the GENERAL appointment call center and that was that!  Soooo clearly my "this is going to be a bad day" feeling I got before I even got out of bed was PROBABLY right, right?  Soooo annoying!  I don't care that they cancelled, but what annoys me is that I have to take off of work to go to the doctors, because my job is ohhhh  just 25 miles from home, so in order to make my 10 minute appointment I have to get approval to leave early....you wouldddddddd think they would cancel umm yesterday?  OR when they cancelled leave me a DIRECT number to call and reschedule because I NEED an appointment today, I can't afford to take off MORE time next week!  BUT nope, no such luck, I had to call the GENERAL line and then leave a MESSAGE for them to call me back!  YUCK! Don't you hate when things don't go your way?  I mean if I was already on Maternity leave and they called and cancelled, cool thanks, we'll set something up for another day, BUT when you plan your entire week around appointment times its so frustrating!

Okay, Okay, I'll stop complaining now!  Promise!  I should be happy right?  It's FRIDAY!!  YUCK I need to get in the Friday mood, BUT right now??  Right now I feel more like the Monday blues!!  -.-  

Here's hoping this day turns around for the better!!

OH and my poor little Muffin is getting fixed today, so she's going to come home sad and starving and there is nothing I can do for her POOR baby :(((

She's been so clingy lately..maybe she knows whats coming?

It's Okay!

HAPPY THURSDAY!!!!

Hooray!  It's ALMOST the weekend!!!  YAYY!!!!  Isn't the weekend the BEST part of the whole week?  Okay, of course it is!  So without further ado....

It's Okay that....

....I look at the Kohls website EVERY single days for clothes EVEN though I would NEVER buy anything right now because ALL of my clothes fit me tight, I think the BIGGEST thing I can't wait for after Carter comes out is being able to buy clothes without feeling like they're wasted because the belly is growing so fast!

....I don't EVER know what I'm going to make for dinner, because I HATE that I get home so late and then have to cook #YESmyScheduleSucks!!!  -.-

....I rather spend my entire weekend GLUED to my husband's side then do anything else...I swear I even dream about missing him :(  Pathetic I know, I don't know what's wrong with me!

....I get wayyyyyyy annoyed at people that ask me the SAME exact question MORE then TWICE!!  There's a lady at work that has literally asked me 5 times since I've been pregnant what am I having?  A boy or a girl?  and EVERY SINGLE TIME I tell her she reacts the same way, "Omg!  I'm so happy you're having a boy!  That's what I wanted you to have!"  Ummm I knowww you asked me last week remember?

....today is the 13th and I LOVE this day! :D

....the muffin is going to get fixed tomorrow and I'm already sad for how crappy she's going to feel when I go pick her up :((

....I can't wait to fit into regular clothes again, and look in my closet and actually know that MOST of my clothes are going to somewhat fit...it's so tiring getting ready for work everyday...I swear I wear the same outfits every week...it's sad :l

....I wish today was friday

....we need to buy a vacuum but haven't even thought about it yet...booooo for having to buy "GROWN UP" things

....I officially feel like if Carter came right now we have enough stuff for him to be OKAY!  YAY!!!  We're kinda prepared!

....I feel Carter move around LOTS BUT when I'm trying to count is kicks like the Dr said, he stops!  It's like he doesn't want me to know HOW many times he kicks, OR he doesn't want to move around now that I'm clocking him...stubborn?

....I get a sigh of relief when friends tell me their babies sleep 5-6 hours a night!! HOORAY!!!

....I get a LITTLE freaked out when OTHER people talk about how their babies only sleep 20 MINUTES at a time :(((

....I'm excited that the dress I wore at the Baby Shower this weekend is a NORMAL size just super stretchy!  SO I can wear it once he pops out!

....I wish I could find more shirts that were that stretchy so that I could wear them even after Carter pops out and not feel weird for still wearing maternity clothes.

....I'm SUPER excited for our last baby shower because that means ONE week until Maternity Leave and THREE weeks until Baby Carter's DUE DATE!!!  I CAN'T wait!!!

....we are missing out on the Husband's little cousins bday party because I could NOT imagine sitting in a car for four hours each way....I think I would die!

....every morning Penelope follows me around the house while I get ready!  I think it's the CUTEST thing in the whole world!

....I usually don't like reading blogs that have a LOT of followers because I feel like they start talking differently BUT I stumbled across this BIG blog recently that I LOVE!!!  LOVE!!

Weekend Wrap-up (three days late, so what!)

Sooooo why did it feel like my weekend ZOOMED by??  :l  It's terrible really, I mean it didn't even feel like I had a day off!  BUT it was so much fun!!  Like I told you, we had our 1st Baby Shower this weekend!!  We had amazing time!!  It was so much fun!  BUT oh so HOT!!

On Friday when I got home, I found this at my door!!

What is it you ask??  Well a couple of weeks ago the Husband won a contest on Instagram and they told him he won a semesters worth of Red Bull, so when I got home I couldn't believe 3 boxes, hmmm 3 cases?  

NOPE SIX!!  We definitely have enough Red Bull to last us a while!  I'm just excited because the husband drinks these things like they're going to sell out of them, and it seriously disrupts our budget!!  BUT thanks to this prize, we should be saving a little bit in our weekly Red Bull purchases! 

On Saturday was the baby shower, and like I said it was RIDICULOUSLY hot!!  Like DISGUSTINGLY hot!  SO gross!  BUT so fun!  Lots of people helped out with the food and we had a SUPER cute dessert bar!  (I'll have to get the pictures off my camera and post them, because SURPRISINGLY I did take some)

We did of COURSE play the chugging beer from a baby cup game!  and it was wayyyyy too funny that my father-in-law won! 

We had asked everyone to bring a book instead of a card and it was SERIOUSLY the BEST idea EVER!!!  Baby Carter received SOOO many books!!  :D

Can't wait to put up a bookshelf!

They are all different types too, some for bigger kids, some for babies, some that could EVEN be used in the bathtub!  So cute!!  I am so thankful for all of the books, can't wait to read them to him! :)

BUT my favorite book that we received was from my Aunt, she was working out of town this weekend so couldn't make it so she FaceTimed while she was in Canada to give me the book, and immediately my eyes started to water (as if my makeup wasn't messed up ENOUGH from being hot and sweaty all day?) 

I've mentioned a couple of times on this blog that my grandpa passed WOW, doesn't feel like three years ago, but yes, three years ago, and I often get sad thinking that he will never get to meet Baby Carter, and Carter will never get to meet my funny grandpa :(  So my aunt gave him this book, right away I wanted to cry just because I knew the book was going to be cute!  BUT THEN!  I opened it and what was inside??

On ALMOST every page she put a picture of my Dad or my grandpa doing something that went with the line in the book, to take the place of the picture that was in the book already!!  SUCH A GREAT IDEA!!!  The line says "I love Grandpa because, he does a good deed every day."  and this is a picture of my parents and I at March of Dimes (the walk we participate in as a family every single year.)  So cute, and I can't wait to glue down all the pictures and add more where she didn't get to finish.  AND I can't WAIT to read it to baby Carter so he can KNOW my grandpa even if he never got to know him :)

On Sunday we got to look at all the stuff that we received and actually go through everything!

We also received this BAD BOY!  and this is probably the gift that I was MOST excited about!!  

I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!  And it was the thing we MOST needed considering we need a car seat to bring our sweet baby boy home in :)

After admiring all the CUTE stuff we got from the Baby Shower we headed to the Aquarium of the Pacific for the Husband's god daughters bday party!

I literally was sitting down EVERY single time that I could while we were there, I guess since being on my feet the entire day before was NOT such a good idea when we were gonna be walking the entire next day!  But it was lots of fun, and still so hot!  Good thing about 1/2 of it was inside the air conditioned building!

After we walked around all day and looked at LOTS of fishes & sea animals we were STARVING so of course we looked up the CLOSEST restaurants that we KNEW wouldn't cost us an arm & a leg was hooters, and my aunt and cousin had never actually been there (even though they were against it in the beginning, I'm sure from the things they'd heard about it) we went, and we celebrated a 2 year olds bday @ Hooters! :D

and the Birthday Girl was sleeping!

Heck!  I would have been too, IF I could have!

We ordered lots of food and it was DELICIOUS!!  Especially the fried pickles!!  Seriously!  If you haven't tried them from there, they're amazing!  Actually I've never had them from anywhere else BUT they are good for an appetizer there, PLUS curly fries with cheese (those two things PROBABLY the only reason I go there)

The B-Day girl FINALLY woke up and we finally were able to start the party!  The Hooters girls sang to her their OWN rendition of the hokey pokey!  It was hilarious because the WHOLE time she sat there staring at them eating her sour octopus! :D

We had wayyyyy too much fun at Hooters and drinking wayyyyyy too much that we had to walk off our food on the harbor :)

AND then we were on our way home, and we STILL hadn't sung "Happy Birthday", so we did!

AND she LOVED it!!  YES I know!! I told her Mom to put only 2 candles, but she said she NEEDED them ALL!  I realized this day though that there's a reason you only get however many candles on your cake as you are in years, because it took about 2 minutes for her to blow out all the candles!!

BUT then she got to BITE the cake!!!  At first she looked at us CRAZY!!?  Like what??!  I could actually BITE the whole cake???  Once it was confirmed she JUMPED right in!  And man that cake was DELICIOUS!

We had so much fun, this weekend, and I can't believe it's already the END of Wednesday which means ONLY two more days of work well a day and a 1/2 because I'm out early on Friday, and then it's the weekend ALL over again!  LOVE weekends!!!  BUT, really...who doesn't right?

Baby Laines-34 Weeks :)

How far along: 34 weeks!!  Eeek getting so excited :D  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Baby Carter don't be late!!  I really want to see you from the outside already!

Baby's size: The little baby is around 19-22 inches, 5.5 lbs (seems pretty BIG) and the size of a LARGE cantaloupe!!  :D 

Miss Anything: Right now I miss NOT being tired all the time, OH and my feet not hurting!!  I swear we went to the aquarium yesterday for the Husband's god daughters bday and EVERY single time I saw a bench I went and sat down, my feet are killing me!!!  My heels actually they just hurt so bad -.-  anyone have a good way to fix this??  I looked up online and the dumb websites just said "stay off your feet and elevate"  ummm hello I want to fix it I KNOW being off my feet will help, but what about when I want to go and do fun things??  I want to go to Disneyland but I don't think my feet are up for it AT ALL!  

Best moment this week:  Our Baby Shower, it was SOOOO hot but we had LOTS of fun!  (update soon, hopefully TOMORROW, if I can remember to take pictures tonight!!) It was amazing to see all of the stuff that we received for Baby Carter :D  Now to just clean his room!

Movement: Yep, every day, mostly at night and when I'm at work, but that's probably because that's when it's quietest, he's probably confused as to why there isn't noise out here!

Food cravings: Still fruit, and sweets!!  We had birthday cake last night and it was AMAZING so amazing actually that I ate it for BREAKFAST! :D

Anything making you queasy or sick:  ummm no just randomly I'll feel super sick but it doesn't really seem like it's anything specific that makes me feel that way.

Maternity Clothes: Yessssssss, I am still fitting in a VERY SELECT few of my old shirts, but other then that I'm struggling to find things to wear, and I refuse to buy anymore clothes!  until I can fit into regular clothes again!

Stretch marks: Still have those two itty bitty tiny ones, still hoping they don't get BIGGER :(

Symptoms I HAVE:   a big belly, slightly swollen feet, and this insane tiredness, seriously this tiredness??  Why couldn't you just be gone after the 1st trimester?!!?!

Doctor’s Appointment:  Have another 4 minute appointment on Friday...they're really pretty freakin LAME and I hate that I ask them questions and sometimes they don't explain why, they just say, oh ya that's normal :l  wellllllll okayyyyyyy

What I'm looking forward to:  Our NEXT baby shower and hopefully eventually getting another ultrasound of the baby boy, before he's born!  I wanna see what it looks like in there now that he's HUGE!

Gender: BOY!!!

Sleep: Ugggh I have been taking a shower BEFORE bed now, and it has helped me sleep so much more, BUT I still have to get up every couple of hours during the night to pee...or because my arm is asleep.

Showing:  Ummmm, I would think this big belly is NOT from eating too much pizza!

It's Okay....September!

It's Okay that...

....I am counting down the days until I go on maternity leave!!! (20 working days)

....I figured out how to watch The View on my phone and I LOVE it!  Literally it's my FAVORITE news show (I guess you can call it that right?) well when I watch it I swear I know more about what is going on in the world!!  (my favorite days are when Barbara isn't there, she annoys me >.<)

....I haven't watched the speeches from the NDC, and I really really want to!  I need to get on that ASAP!

....I'm super excited for the FIRST baby shower to happen this weekend! :D  Can't wait to see everyone and celebrate my little one coming in just a few short weeks :)

....I'm excited to see my sister!  I love when she comes to visit and she'll be here TOMORROW!!  Even if it's just for the weekend I'm still excited!

....Kim Kardashian really gets on my NERVES!!!  BUT I can't stop watching KUWTK!!!  -.-

....the husband calls the coffee I drink every day half calf, it makes me laugh!  I've never heard that before and he said that's what you call it at coffee houses, you would swear he worked at a coffee shop, which is not the case

....the puppies really are sooooooooo cute!  they make me laugh on a daily basis and they're so funny!!!

....I can't WAIT for all of the Fall Shows to come back!!!  EEEK so exciting!!

....I am actually pretty excited for the MTV Music Awards tonight, they always make me laugh BUT I'm kinda pissed that because we don't have DirecTV anymore we have to wait until 10 to watch them :l

....it has taken me OVER an hour to get to work every day!!  Eggh so annoying!!!!

....I HATE when people say PIC out loud!  It's annoying -.-  How hard is it to say PICTURE?

....even when baby Carter is kicking me to hurt me I LOVE IT!!  It's really an amazing feeling!  It's so funny that he feels like an alien living inside me, and when he comes out he's going to be a HUMAN BEING!  I can't believe it!

....I have been getting a little tiny bit of anxiety about actually having to DELIVER this baby :l  I look at newborn babies and think how cute they are BUT that's a BIG thing to come out of your body OMG!!!  :-O

....I always look at OLD pictures on Facebook!  and remember exactly what was going on that day!  I swear it's my favorite pass time!!  Today I was looking at pictures from our wedding!!

....some of my students get on my nerves....I HATE that they give me excuses for everything...I'd rather they just tell me the truth OR actually I'd rather them not say anything then MAKE UP lame excuses of why they didn't show up to a meeting we had scheduled!

....I haven't been up on my reality TV show watching recently and I feel so out of the loop.

....the husband & I are counting down the days until SOA starts!!  ONLY one more week!!  Ohhhh ya!!

....I have been getting heartburn every single day, I hope that means baby Carter is growing LOTS and LOTS of hair and I hope it's curly like his dad!! :D

Happy Labor Day!

Does anyone know the meaning of Labor Day???  I sure didn't...I always thought of it as the holiday that officially meant summer was OVER...even though TECHNICALLY summer isn't over until September 21st!  I mean really, doesn't everyone think of Summer as the BEGINNING of June to the BEGINNING of September, once you pass Labor day everyone is into Fall mode and starts getting excited for Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeen!  

BUT I'm going off on a tangent the meaning of Labor Day is "A public holiday or day of festivities held in honor of working people, in the US and Canada on the first Monday in September, in many countries on May 1." 

So we are honoring all of us WORKERS! :D  I remember thinking that when I was younger Labor Day meant all ladies that have gone through labor :)  (funny how kids brains work right?) ANYWAY sooo now that you know what labor day stands for, in case you didn't already know, I'll tell you a little bit about my FUN FILLED weekend!!

Friday

I had the day off because I had to take a test to get licensed to sell insurance in CA (trying to find a way to make a little extra money once Carter comes) and TADA I passed!  YES!  I was super excited, especially because I had taken the practice test the day before and FAILED miserably!  :l  BUT I passed and was super excited!  I then went to hang out with my AMAZING gma who I hardly get to see anymore and then had a Dr Appt, once I was done with my literally FIVE minute appointment I went to get my nails done by my LOVELY cousin who painted them nice and blue for the baby shower she said :)  BLUE OMBRE to be specific :D  I usually don't like blue nail polish but I LOVE the way they came out!

I picked up the puppies and we had to head home we had left them at my parents house to run around during the day while I was running errands!

sometimes, they do love each other promise!

When I got home we had this package waiting for us!  ALWAYS makes me laugh when UPS does this!!

We also went out to dinner with our friends who we haven't seen in what felt like FOREVER!  By time we were done with dinner (after midnight) we were beyond tired since we had waken up at 5 am to study for my test!

Saturday

the husband had set to start painting the crib and changing table, while I had decided I wanted to make a SUPER cute banner for the baby shower this Saturday!  I saw this one, and KNEW that no one could make it like I could, I know that sounds so ridiculous, but when it comes to crafts I feel like I'd rather just do it alone!

My inspiration, (well actually I found it in girl version, and did NOT know it was made of felt, BUT it's still sooooooo cute!) and I didn't want it to say JUST baby Boy So I decided on Baby Carter!  and I didn't think a HEART really matched the theme of my baby shower so I did a dinosaur! and here it is!

don't mind the dark light, but it was NIGHT TIME and I haven't taken another pic

I LOVE IT!

I made it out of Cardstock and each of the onesies is made out of a textured paper that has little dots and it looks so cute!  I added a gray squiggly (I know thats NOT the word) circle and just a regular circle for the inside!  PLUS the Marker Felt font in my MacBook.  (not positive that font came with my computer but I AM positive that it was free)  Once I finished making this I was wondering what happened to the Husband since he SWORE it would only take him 2 hours (THE MOST) to paint both the crib and the changing table and he left @ 2 and it was now NINE!

He was still painting and would have to finish the next day!  AND GET THIS he actually admitted that he was wrong and it took way longer then he originally thought WIFE-1 HUSBAND-0!  He finally got home and we were super tired, I finished washing laundry and we went to bed!

I went to get a pedicure, with the little sister in law really does any pregnant lady do her own toes??  If so I have NO idea how, I can BARELY still shave my legs!  It was nice, but it always makes me laugh when you go get your nails or toes done and the ladies ALWAYS want to sell you MORE then you need they so remind me of the mechanics @ Jiffy Lube!  Oh well you REALLY need this!  Those ladies offered me EVERYTHING for my toes, including an EXTRA massage, I couldn't help but laugh because I kept saying "No thank you, I'm okay" I must have sounded like a BROKEN record!  AND then the lady noticed that my nails were already DONE, have you ever gotten your toes done after you already had your nails done?  The ladies do NOT like it ONE bit!  She immediately started asking me LOTS of questions about where I got them, how much they cost, etc.  So after being drilled with ONE MILLION questions I kept reading my US Weekly!  She said, Oh okay, want to do them again?  I said no, I just got them done!  She said ohhhh you did?  Ummm ya and they're gel you just asked me that they'll last at LEAST two weeks!  Couldn't help but laugh at how many extras she had tried me to buy, if I would have bought all of them my $15 pedicure probably would have turned into $60!  No JOKE!  Probably MORE!  

Carter's was having a HUGE sale EVERYTHING was 50% off PLUS they sent me a coupon for ANOTHER 20% off!  I was super excited because I LOVEEEEEEEE their onesies so we stopped and picked up ohhhhh just about 7 multipacks all different sizes and I'm in LOVE!

We had a party for the Husband's aunt to go to later that night so that was fun!

this is probably the only time I got out of my seat and it was only because we were leaving, it was HOT!

and can you see the finger in the picture?  I swear it makes me laugh!  We then went to get some Krispy Kreme donuts!  OMG so good!!!  I can't believe it had been so long since I last ate them!

Monday

The husband had to go FINISH the painting that had now taken THREE whole days!  and I stood home to clean the house!  VERY SLOWLY but I did manage to get a lot clean!  AND I put away a LOT of our clothes, I mean that alone is a HUGE milestone!  AND then I took a TWO & a HALF HOUR nap, hey everyone's been asking me if I nap, and on this day I did!  Then we had to go grocery shopping, we literally didn't even have the food everyone always has, like Top Ramen!  I know terrible, so we were off, and ONCE we finished shopping we went and picked up this bad boy!!  AND I can safely say that I'm IN LOVE!!!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the way that it came out!!  Sooooooo much cuter then the cherry wood for sure!  AND so much more boyish!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!  Can't say how much I love it enough :)

AND thank you to everyone that commented on THIS post, after LOTS and LOTS of google searching all posts that I read said that paint is Okay as long as you apply a poly top coat!  So that's exactly what we did, AND if our little one does turn into a wood eating machine and decide that he wants to eat his way out of his crib then we will buy one of those plastic rail guards!  And I am going to stop stressing about it, the crib looks AMAZING!  And I can't wait for his room to be complete!  AND I already forgot to take a picture of the mess that we already got rid of, BUT I will take some pics of what it looks like right now (still a mess) and again once it's completely finished EEK not too long from now!  Can't wait!

Okay, this is probably the LONGEST post in the WORLD!  BUT I hope ALL of you had a WONDERFUL labor day weekend!  Who's as excited for Fall as I am???  As far as I can tell from my Instagram & FB everyone is SUPER excited about Pumpkin Spice Lattes being back!  I'll be excited once it cools down enough for me to have one, since this weekend it's supposed to be....

ohhhhhhh god I'm glad my dad is making a cover to keep everyone from the sun!

Baby Laines-33 Weeks

Happy Labor Day!!!!!!!

How far along: 33 Weeks :)

Baby's size: He is 19-22 inches and around 4.9 pounds, the size of a Pineapple!! 

Miss Anything: I miss being able to get out of bed without feeling like I'm going to die, that's probably all this week.  Oh and I kinda miss having normal dreams and not the CRAZY ones I've been having!

Best moment this week:  Getting his crib and changing table painted, and starting to put together his room.  AFTER I had the meltdown about painting I realized that he isn't going to die from paint, and the gray crib and changing table look AMAZING in gray!

Movement: He moves a LOT more now, and I LOVE it!  It's so funny, I swear I could feel him allllllll day everyday and I never get tired of him squirming around in there :)  It's an amazing feeling!

Food cravings: Still FRUIT, I realized that yesterday we went to to the store and 50% of the groceries we bought were fruit!  YUMM it's just soooooooo good!  Oh and I MIGHT have been craving Krispy Kreme donuts this weekend too...NOT my fault someone mentioned them and I HAD to have them!  AND they were AMAZING!!!

Anything making you queasy or sick: I still randomly get a nausceous feeling, BUT for the most part I still feel pretty good.

Maternity Clothes: Yes PLEASE!!  I can still wear a couple of my old shirts that were flowy...but for the most part it's all maternity clothes, my co-workers probably think I NEVER change, but Maternity Clothes are expensive and I'd MUCH rather spend my money on stuff for Carter!

Stretch marks: :(  I found one on my side the other day...I was sooooooo sad :l  BUT it is pretty tiny and I could deal, that was UNTIL I found another tiny one on my belly...ohhhhhh godddddd whyyyyyy I really hope this is a fluke and NOT a trend...pleassseeee from now on though Mustela twice a day!

Symptoms I HAVE:   Besides a BIG protruding belly, and starting the wobble I think I'm pretty good with symptoms.

Doctor’s Appointment:  Had one on Friday and it was literally 5 minutes long!  I swear it takes me LONGER to walk to the office then it does to be inside with the Dr.next appointment is NEXT friday!

What I'm looking forward to:  Our FIRST baby shower is on Saturday and I'm pretty excited for it!

Gender: BOY!!!

Wedding rings on or off: on and still fitting like normal :) 

Happy or Moody most of the time: I think I'm pretty happy, especially now that I see the baby's room coming together, it's getting so exciting to think he'll be here before we know it :D

Sleep: Yuck...I guess this is preparing me for when he comes, because I usually wake up to go pee in the middle of the night and then I lay back down hoping to fall right back to sleep ONLY to lay there for at least a 1/2 hr trying to fall back to sleep...lameeeee I wish I could remember what good sleep felt like.
