When things don't go your way

Don't you hate it when you wake up on what feels like the wrong side of the bed?

I hate when I feel like it's going to be a bad day even before I get out of bed....

This morning when I woke up I realized that I had over slept and had only 1/2 hour to get ready for work, AND I still had to take a shower and wash my hair (all because I didn't do it last night) -.-

I jumped out of bed (when I say jump i mean, got out of bed as slowly as possible, because it hurts to get out of bed too fast) and jumped in the shower!

I got ready and was out the door, Ohhh ummm only about ten minutes behind what is "normal" time for me to leave....you see USUALLY on Friday's traffic to work is not that bad, it usually doesn't start until I leave work, which is understandable it's Friday, everyone's trying to get home whatev....BUT this morning, oh you would be happy to find out that there was a RIDICULOUS amount of traffic!  RIDICULOUS!!  

AND while I was driving to work I got a SUPER weird call from a number that looked something like this 

Really?  Who could that possibly be?  So weird, OF COURSE I didn't answer it I mean hello, who calls at 8:10 am from a number like that?  Probably one of those dumb solicitors that I don't want to talk to ummm EVER and ESPECIALLY not on a Friday morning when I'm already LATE to work!!  SO I forwarded to voicemail!

I ended up getting to work 1/2 hour late!!  >.<  So annoyed I rushed to my desk!  AND then you know what happened?  I checked that voicemail and ohhhh it was just the doctors office telling me that "your appointment for today has been cancelled"  left the number to the GENERAL appointment call center and that was that!  Soooo clearly my "this is going to be a bad day" feeling I got before I even got out of bed was PROBABLY right, right?  Soooo annoying!  I don't care that they cancelled, but what annoys me is that I have to take off of work to go to the doctors, because my job is ohhhh  just 25 miles from home, so in order to make my 10 minute appointment I have to get approval to leave early....you wouldddddddd think they would cancel umm yesterday?  OR when they cancelled leave me a DIRECT number to call and reschedule because I NEED an appointment today, I can't afford to take off MORE time next week!  BUT nope, no such luck, I had to call the GENERAL line and then leave a MESSAGE for them to call me back!  YUCK! Don't you hate when things don't go your way?  I mean if I was already on Maternity leave and they called and cancelled, cool thanks, we'll set something up for another day, BUT when you plan your entire week around appointment times its so frustrating!

Okay, Okay, I'll stop complaining now!  Promise!  I should be happy right?  It's FRIDAY!!  YUCK I need to get in the Friday mood, BUT right now??  Right now I feel more like the Monday blues!!  -.-  

Here's hoping this day turns around for the better!!

OH and my poor little Muffin is getting fixed today, so she's going to come home sad and starving and there is nothing I can do for her POOR baby :(((

She's been so clingy lately..maybe she knows whats coming?

Marlee the Mom???!!!

The most exciting thing happen this weekend, my little Marlee Muffin became a MOM!!!  I can't believe it!!  We have known that she was pregnant for a while now, and this past week we could even feel the puppies move!!!  It was so exciting especially because we didn't know when they would come, and neither me or the husband has had a dog have puppies before, especially one that is like our baby!!  So we spent all weekend and last week thinking she was going to have the puppies any day now, we didn't know when BUT we knew it had to be soon!  My cousin lent us a HUGE dog cage that is for a golden retriver, and we thought that would be perfect to hold the puppies in!

Well last night we were thinking lets set it up just in case she has them during the week, we don't want to worry about setting it up then...we didn't think we were going to wake up to puppies, BUT we did!! 

Last night before we went to bed, Fox was crying to sleep with us on the bed, so I put him up and then Marlee wanted to come on, then the husband said, I don't think you should let her sleep up here, what if she has the puppies, so I said ummm okay let me put her in the bed so she can see that it's there.  I put her in there and she loved it, immediately fell asleep so we all went to sleep.  At 5 am, I woke up to a crying puppy!  I looked in the cage and couldn't really see anything but I thought I saw Santiago in the cage with the puppies, so I started freaking out a little bit because our cat is pretty rough and I didn't want him to think they were little rats, and the muffin has never had puppies before so I wasn't sure how she would act.  I kinda freaked out and went to wake up the husband, i said "OMG!  Marlee had the puppies, and I think Santiago is in there!!  Get up and check!!"  and then i remembered that right before we went to bed, he said "if marlee has the puppies at night DO NOT WAKE ME UP FREAKING OUT!"  Oops my bad, it's not my fault i was scared! 

He finally got up and checked on the puppies and Santiago wasn't in there, it was actually Marlee that I saw, but we immediately got up to look at how cute the little tiny puppies were!  There are four of them!  and they are so cute that I want to keep them ALL!!  Every single one of them!!!  I listen to a radio show here in LA most days, and one of the guys has literally like TEN dogs, and they always make fun of him, because they were all brothers and sisters but now I know how he felt, if his dog had the puppies he didn't want to give them away!  I'm already having seperation anxiety and I only got to spend two hours with them this morning!

They are so cute!!!  It's amazing to see what a good mom she is already and she is still my puppy (is this how moms feel when their baby becomes a mom?) because I feel so sad thinking about giving them away, is she going to be sad?  OMG!!  We're just going to keep them all and we are going to be "those" people!

We'll see how it goes, I'm sure once they start pooping everywhere then I'll feel more willing to let them go, but right now I want to have them ALL!!  All four of them, they're my puppies-puppies!! :D

I'll let you know how this adventure goes, as we are along for the ride.

There's so many things happening in the next couple of months, I'm so glad I have this bloggy wogg to help me keep track of everything :)

THE BEASTSSSSSSSSS

Today I am going to talk about my little BEASTS as my love and I like to call them :D

I don't really know when or how we started calling ALL three of them this but we do and I love it!  Because in reality they are all small (well Santiago is small in comparison to a lion!) and they all have so much energy and well let me show you some pictures :D

He is a crazy little beast, when we got him, he was already a year and a half old.  We would take him everywhere with us!  He was so good, he was already potty trained, he didn't really bark, loved being held and was so funny!  He even pees while standing on his two front legs!  It's actually quite hilarious!  He is an independent little animal, he HATES big dogs and instantly thinks he can eat them up if they are anywhere near him!!  His daily activities consist of sleeping, eating, going on three walks, barking at the big dogs, growling at Santiago AND sleeping!

He was our second baby, we got him as soon as we moved out of my parents house, and we've had him since he was a little tiny baby :)  He was so small that he could fit into a shoe!!

He is the funniest cat that I have ever met, he is so hyper and crazy!  He will literally RUN around our little tiny apartment four times going crazy, running and jumping over everything that is in his way!  He LOVES to torture both Fox & Marlee :)  It really makes for an entertaining day when he is in a mood he is also so sweet, he loves to lay on us Marlee.  His day to day activities consist of bugging Fox, sitting in the window to look at his girlfriend, (she lives in the apartments) and sitting in the bathroom window trying to attack all of the birds flying through the trees.

Isn't she so cute??  I got her as a graduation present from the husband when I graduated with my masters, at first I wanted to give her away!  She was so bad, she took so long to potty train, I would put her on the potty pad and she would sit there for twenty minutes and then walk away and pee on the floor!!  SO frustrating!!  I would often tell the husband that I wanted to give her away, BUT she was so cute!  I mean really?  Look at this face!

She definitely has the energy to match her crazy hair!  And she's so funny!  She LOVES to torture her toys, she literally eats the stuffing out of all of her toys!  She has a lot of energy and she LOVES LOVES LOVES to lick, seriously if you put your hand down, she'll lick it, non-stop until you finally move your hand, if you don't move your hand she'll keep licking!  I am so glad that she eventually got potty trained, and is the best puppy now, she's so hyper and the complete opposite of Fox, but her and Santiago are best friends!  Daily she chews on her bone!

She runs around with Santiago, tries to eat Santiago's food!  Sleeps lots!  Goes on three walks, tries to get into the kitty litter, jumps on and off the counch, cries to get on the bed!  AND cries for treats and table food anytime we are in the kitchen, she's a brat i know but she's just so cute!

They are all so funny, and each of them has their own personality!  They all make me laugh on a daily basis, I'll leave you with some super cute pictures so you can get to know our beasts a little more :)
