Someone Special's Bday :)

Today, October 3rd is one of the MOST amazing days in the whole world....why you ask??

Because today is my Grandma's Bday :D

I'm POSITIVE I've mentioned her once, or twice, heck i'm sure MORE then that....I mean I did write this WHOLE post about how important my family is to me :D

And this lady!

is the person that holds this entire family together! :D

Literally, she is the one that reminds us to be strong, to be brave and to live our lives to the best of our ability!  NO matter what she has taught us that no matter what happens everything is going to be okay, she truly is the strongest person I know!

AND the most amazing women to walk this earth :)  She's the BEST grandma!  The MOST caring and LITERALLY an angel that walks this earth :D  ASK ANYONE!

I know that everyone probably thinks that they have the BEST grandma, but really she's amazing :)  I mean the thing that I'm MOST excited for Carter is that he is going to have an AMAZING great grandma!!  one that loves with her whole heart, one that makes the MOST amazing rice, and will ALWAYS make him sopita NO matter what time of day!  One that will listen to all of your problems without making you feel like you ruined your life, and will always make you feel better when your sick.  She is  A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!  So, today is her day and I mean really she doesn't look a DAY over 55 :)  She's so cute!!

My cousins and I are really blessed to have her as our grandma, and our kids are blessed that she is part of their lives!!  I can't say enough times, how blessed I feel to have this lady in my life!  EVEN if she did make me cry, TWO seconds before walking out the door to my wedding with this blessing :)

I LOVE you to infinity and beyond grandma!!

March 13th

It's amazing that in the past couple of years I have really become quite attached to the #13. It's true. It's probably the reason why I chose our wedding to be on the 13th. I do love Friday the 13th, and no I don't think it's a scary day. I LOVE it!! It probably has to do with my grandpa, today is his birthday and I use to love when he would get excited to go to Vegas for his bday and it landed on a Friday!

Today, I thought about him more then I usually do and today I know more then normal EVERYONE is missing him a little more! I can't even begin to explain the hurt that my family felt the day that he passed, actually I can't even explain the hurt we still feel, every holiday, get together, actually most times I go to my grandma's house I expect him to be sitting in his chair, asking me "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH so nice of you to come see your grandparents" My dad must get this from him....it is amazing how fast three years goes by and it is even more amazing that not a day goes by that we don't miss him. You would think, that after three years it would get easier, but I think it's the opposite, because you think of all the things that have happened in three years, that he didn't get to see. It really does remind you that you can't ever take life for granted because it truly can be gone in an instant.

Soooo, today is his bday and usually I feel sad, and miss him more then ever and spend the day just thinking, BUT today, for some reason TODAY I feel like he is watching over me. I heard once on a TV show that was talking spirits that when you feel they are with you, and you can truly feel it, then they are. And I truly feel like today he is with me!!! It makes me miss him a little less today, because I know he is here! So happy birthday grandpa, you truly were the BEST grandpa that ANYONE could EVER ask for!!! It's true! You spoiled us and yelled at us and you showed us how to make "us" popcorn! I LOVE YOU so much and MISS you more then ever, BUT today I don't miss you so much I just feel happy because I can feel you here!!!

Happy Birthday Nannies & Lil' Lylah! :)

So it was Nannies & Delylah's bday party this weekend AND I was asked to make the cake am cupcakes with a CUPCAKE theme like this!!



So I thought and thought and then went to buy the GIANT cupcake pan!!! :) yay! I was excited who wouldn't want a GIANT cupcake as their bday cake?! Especially if the theme was CUPCAKES!! So here is how it came out!



Not too bad considering it was my first time!!! :)

And the cupcakes were my favorite all colorful & cute!!



The party was fun! We jumped in the jumper we had some cupcakes & cake it was fun!

Now the rest of this is random soooooo here goes!!!

On Thursday I got a knock on the door & who was it?!? The mailman!!! He was here to deliver this bad boy!!! :))



Yayyy!!!! I was so excited! NOT that this will help me get a job because it hasn't yet! BUT still it's finally here and now I can put it in a frame and stare at it :) this paper worth $40,000 yayy!!!! :))

I think he is so funny! He LOVES bags, boxes, anything that he can get into and I think it's the funniest! I can pull out the tiniest box & he wants to get inside! So funny! Clearly he does NOT fit in this bag, BUT he sure has fun trying! :))

Sleeping while I drive!!! I hate it!!!! :) but it makes for a funny picture!! Take that Wictor! All the world now sees what I have to endure allllll the time! You sleeping!!! :)

This weekend we're going to a dodger game with 11 other people so we shall see what fun is in store for us!! :)

Bday Weekend!! :D

I can't even say how much fun my weekend was because it was ridiculous! :D We had the BEST time....on Friday we went to Benihana's to get the bday celebrations started, and we got our picture taken and had a bday sundae and all! :)

On Saturday, we went to visit Steph & Shawn AND new baby Bryson! We then came home and got ready for the club...which turned out to be so much fun after all! We danced and drank (probably a little too much) but had the BEST time! And the club was so nice! It looked like we were inside of a Pyramid! :D We ended up at the Pantry and of course it was SOOOO GOOD!! AND didn't get home until 4:30!! Whewww what a night!!

On Sunday, I woke up (as you can imagine) hungover! A little too many AMF's :D AND we were ready (after some water and mimosas) to do it all over again :) we went to Blanca's for the BBQ and it was so much fun! We had a HUGE turn out!! Here are some of the highlights!

*We had a Michelada cup cake!!
*We had a funfetti cake!
*I got thrown in the pool TWICE!!
*We had enough beer to get an entire army drunk!
*EVERY SINGLE person OVER the age 21 took a HAPPY BIRTHDAY shot! As a group! :)
*I won & lost at beer pong!
*I didn't get home until AFTER 1:30 and had to be at work @ 8 the next morning!

We had so much fun and it was all a BLAST!!! I wouldn't change it for anything! AND tonight is Jersey Shore night AND we're having a JERSEY SHORE Potluck!! Which means EVERYONE must bring a Jersey Shore themed drink and/or food! So until next time :D
