Baby Laines-39 Weeks

How far along: 39 Weeks :)

Baby's size: A small watermelon around 7 lbs and 20-21 inches...eek he is FOR SURE big enough to come out!!  Come on Baby Carter :) 

Miss Anything: I do miss being able to have a drink at dinner, AND I do miss being comfortable, at all, I miss sleeping on my back without feeling like I'm going to suffocate! 

  

Best moment this week:  Going to the Black Keys Concert, it was a lot of fun, HUGE pregnant and all!

Movement: Yep, moves lots!!

Food cravings: nope, nothing at all...most times after I eat I feel super nauseous, BUT you could say I'm still obsessed with sweets :)  YUMMMM 

Anything making you queasy or sick: Food in general, randomly I'll feel super queasy and gross :l

Maternity Clothes: Ummm yes please...still all I wear PLUS the husbands old shirts and gym shorts!

Stretch marks: :(

Symptoms I HAVE:   Big belly!  Lots of queasiness, wobbling, backaches, etc.

Doctor’s Appointment:  Wednesday morning and that is when they will tell me if I've even dilated AT ALL, UNLESS he decides to come out before then of course :)

What I'm looking forward to:  Baby Carter finally being here :D  I can't wait!!!!!

Gender: BOY!!!

Belly Button in or out: in

Wedding rings on or off: off, I put them on last sunday to go to dinner with my grandma and I couldn't get them off!  So I officially officially took them off for good last week!  So sad :(  My fingers look so boring and sad without a wedding ring.

Happy or Moody most of the time: I think I'm pretty happy, BUT it is pretty easy for me to get annoyed!

Sleep: I feel like I can't get ENOUGH sleep right now, I'm so tired!!  Literally last night I went to bed at midnight and then woke up at 4 am and couldn't go to sleep until 5:30 and then LITERALLY slept in this morning until 12:30 I can't believe it!  I feel like I'm in the first trimester of pregnancy ALL OVER AGAIN!  :l  AND if someone tells me ONE more time that it's NOT going to get better after the baby comes, I'm going to PUNCH someone in their face!  ESPECIALLY because I already KNOW that!  BUT at least I'll have a reason to be tired all the time, right now I just feel like I'm exhausted for no reason!

Baby Carter please please please get here soon!  Mommy & Daddy can't wait to finally meet you on the outside!  WE are all ready for you to get out!  BUT no rush, I LOVE that you are going to pick your own birthday :D  Pick a good day and PLEASE let it be BEFORE halloween, we have a SUPER cute Halloween costume waiting for you to wear :)

Weekend Update

I know that I always end up posting my weekend updates on Tuesdays, it's USUALLY because I am posting about Baby Laines on Mondays....sooooo I don't get to talk about my weekend until Tuesdays! I am so excited it's my first week off of work and I think I am unlike most 38 week pregnant ladies, because although I would loveeeeee for Baby Carter to make his appearance into this world VERY soon it would be nice if he stood in there a little while so I can get things ready at the house and have some time to relax, because it's really hard with a BIG watermelon taking up your entire body :)

Sooooo...this weekend was eventful!  It was my last day of work on Friday, and it is a surreal feeling all weekend I just kept thinking that I was going to have to go back to work, when in reality I don't! :D Before I stopped working I had to stop by Starbucks...and OF COURSE they got my name wrong again...PROOF that they don't understand the name JADE :l  whateva AT least it was delicious!  Jay, Jane...Jade same thing right?

My cousin sent me a picture that I still can NOT stop laughing at!  I mean seriously!?!  So freakin HILARIOUS!!  HIS face is TOO much!  I think this should be his costume for sure!  So funny!!

I was going through pictures on my phone for #tbt on Instagram and I was so sad to look at this picture of me from a couple of years ago....I wonder if I'll ever be able to fit in those jeans again :l  I don't even remember what it was like to NOT have a belly in front of me!

 P.S. I LOVE Disneyland, and can't wait to go back!  My passes are premium but it's been sooooo hot during the summer that I haven't wanted to go, and now I'm so pregnant I don't want to go...anyone want to go during the week?  Friday?? :D

We bought a new crate for Penelope, because the one we had for her was the size of a HUGE dog, like a golden retriever!!  and it was taking up WAYY too much room in our bedroom!  So we got her a smaller one, and my cousin bought her dog one too (he's Penelope's BIGGER brother) and her daughter (the husband's god daughter) Delylah wanted to test it out, you know make sure it was safe for her puppy to use :)

 As I was driving home on Friday from my grandma's house I saw this amazing view!  I LOVE it!  Plus it started getting a lot cooler last week, so right now I'm pretty much IN LOVE with the Fall weather currently going on!!

On Saturday the husband and I went to breakfast at Denny's and I always think it's so funny how they do themes of food there, a couple of weeks ago they were doing around the U.S. or something and everything was themed by states, it's so fun, even if I NEVER ever get anything from that menu...right now it's bacon time!  The Husband got something off the menu though, and it looked amazing, I almost wanted to trade him, but his had onions :l  (gross I hate onions)

Like I told you we got a new King Size bed a couple of weeks ago, so in order to clean out Carter's room we had to get rid of the old bed...and we did that on Saturday and the WHOLE ride from our house to my parents the husband and I could NOT stop laughing thinking "what if the mattress fell off in the middle of the road?"  So embarrassing but would be the FUNNIEST thing EVER!!

My friend from college came to visit, one last visit before Baby Carter makes his appearance and it was fun!  We watched the Fresno State game on TV and then we went to eat a type of food called Shabu Shabu, it was AMAZING!!  IF you have never heard of it, look it up...sooooo good!!  You put order a broth to cook your food in, which there were like 20 different types then you order the type of meat you want...then a type of dipping sauce!  I guess my combination was the BEST one because it was delicious!!  and it was LOTS and LOTS of fun to cook too...some of the people that we were with said it was kinda like the melting pot, so NOW I have to try that ASAP!

We hung out at our house after, and on Sunday we watched some football and got ready for my gmas bday dinner!

I brought the cake, but I promise that soon, I will start making the cakes for events again!  They're so much cuter then the ones I buy from the store, and we can customize them ourselves!  I've just been sooooo tired!  Baby Carter takes ALL my energy!  We did have a blast though, we always do!  I mean there were ALMOST thirty of us!  AND we were all there to celebrate this lady :)

She's so cute! :D  AND amazing :)  and while we were there I realized that the next time we go anywhere or celebrate anything together as a family Baby Carter will be here!!  I can't believe it!  Like literally can't believe that I am going to be a mom VERY SOON!  :)  AND I couldn't be happier!

On the way home the Husband and I stopped by Babies R Us to use our gift cards and to pick up a diaper bag, because ummm we didn't have one!   Of course when we got home the husband put together all the stuff we got LIKE a brand new stroller, and I have to say the Chicco Liteway is amazing!!  BEST umbrella stroller I've EVER seen because it reclines ALL the way down so you could even put a brand new baby in it!  LOVE LOVE LOVE!

 We also picked up a few toys for Baby Carter, while we were there!

We had the best weekend, and I'm so glad to be home this week to relax a little, get my house in order a little and wait for baby Carter to make his appearance...but don't rush baby Carter, me and your Dad are enjoying our last days of just the two of us while you are baking away :D

Baby Laines-38 Weeks

How far along: 39 Weeks :)

Baby's size: HUGE!   OFFICIALLY ready to come out ;D

Miss Anything: Being comfortable...of couse, being able to enjoy an alcoholic beverage randomly!   AND not having a never ending to do list!

Best moment this week:  KNOWING that the next time my family gets together for an event Baby Carter will ALREADY be here OMG!  I can NOT wait!!

Movement: Yep, he still doesn't MOVE all crazy...BUT he does move lots...I think he's a booty popper like his dad :) It's so cute when he'll randomly stick his butt out!  LOVE!! :D

Food cravings: Nothing at all still...everyone still asks me all the time...but NOPE nothing, especially NOTHING crazy.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Randomly I'll feel super sick like I wanna throw UP, BUT for the MOST part nope...

Maternity Clothes: Ummm yes...or ANY of my clothes that were SUPER loose when I wasn't pregnant!

Stretch marks: Ummm I feel like there are going to be more hidden ones, once this baby actually pops out! BUT for now I'm not going to stress about it...I've taken care of myself to the best of my ability so whatever happens to my body is what was meant to happen and all for Baby Carter :)  Battle wounds of pregnancy it's okay

Symptoms I HAVE:   BIG belly, swollen feet & ankles, BUT really OVERALL I am feeling AMAZING I can't wait to D

Doctor’s Appointment:  They are every single week now!  Can't believe how fast time has passed!

You may be starting to get ready to come out soon, BUT how about you wait a couple of days, I would like to have at least a couple of days this week to get everything ready for you to come into this world :)  Okay?  :D  Okay sounds good!  How about you can come on Wednesday?  I'd prefer Saturday so you can be born on the 13th but whateva, I'll let you pick the day.

Someone Special's Bday :)

Today, October 3rd is one of the MOST amazing days in the whole world....why you ask??

Because today is my Grandma's Bday :D

I'm POSITIVE I've mentioned her once, or twice, heck i'm sure MORE then that....I mean I did write this WHOLE post about how important my family is to me :D

And this lady!

is the person that holds this entire family together! :D

Literally, she is the one that reminds us to be strong, to be brave and to live our lives to the best of our ability!  NO matter what she has taught us that no matter what happens everything is going to be okay, she truly is the strongest person I know!

AND the most amazing women to walk this earth :)  She's the BEST grandma!  The MOST caring and LITERALLY an angel that walks this earth :D  ASK ANYONE!

I know that everyone probably thinks that they have the BEST grandma, but really she's amazing :)  I mean the thing that I'm MOST excited for Carter is that he is going to have an AMAZING great grandma!!  one that loves with her whole heart, one that makes the MOST amazing rice, and will ALWAYS make him sopita NO matter what time of day!  One that will listen to all of your problems without making you feel like you ruined your life, and will always make you feel better when your sick.  She is  A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!  So, today is her day and I mean really she doesn't look a DAY over 55 :)  She's so cute!!

My cousins and I are really blessed to have her as our grandma, and our kids are blessed that she is part of their lives!!  I can't say enough times, how blessed I feel to have this lady in my life!  EVEN if she did make me cry, TWO seconds before walking out the door to my wedding with this blessing :)

I LOVE you to infinity and beyond grandma!!

Decorator? Not Really....

Sooooooo since we have MOVED and kinda getting everything settled I have NOT done ANYTHING AT ALL!!!  Like decorating wise...I don't know if I've ever mentioned this before...BUT I'm NOT a decorator at ALL!  LIKE NOT ONE BIT.

It's sad really...

I get super sad thinking that I don't have an eye for making things look cute and pretty, because in reality I don't :(

I mean these living rooms are so cute, and decorated no nice, I look at blog after blog of people designing their house, and they find things at yard sales, ross, marshalls, craigslist etc, and they see things that are like eh whatever and they bring them home and turn them into AMAZING things!  OR they find the craziest looking things and when they bring them home they look AMAZING in their house!  This NEVER happens to me...I think Oh that's cute, bring it home and it looks boring I really am the worst decorator ever :(

Because we have a VERY low bed!!

There's lots of space at the top of it...so I figured it would look cute...BUT I don't know if I could do it, what if it gets messed up?  AND we live in an apt so that's a LOT of holes in the wall that we would EVENTUALLY have to patch up...BUT I'm trying to think of things to make this room look cute...like i said...i am not a decorator :(  AND I am obviously on a budget!  I mean duhhh I have a baby on the way!!

Soooooo, if anyone has any ideas of cute ways to decorate....OR  any good tips for someone that has NO idea how to make houses look cute, by alllllllll means please send them my wayyyyyyyyy my house could REALLY REALLY use them!

Baby Laines-37 Weeks

How far along: 37 weeks :)

Baby's size: 19-22 inches around 6.5 lbs :-O!   The size of a WATERMELON!!  Oh goodness!

Miss Anything: Being comfortable!!  I miss being able to sleep on my back...sleeping without waking up like I'm going to explode, feeling like I don't have a BASKETBALL stuffed inside my stomach...oh and I miss wearing jeans!  OH and shirts that were long, and I miss my old feet, they're so swollen right now and they hurt that I miss when they were cute!  :(

Best moment this week:  Getting an email saying that Baby Laines is FULL TERM!!  He can literally come at ANY TIME!!!  :D

Movement: Yep, every single day, it's cute when he moves sometimes, because it's when I eat something or drink something and he'll be moving crazy!  I LOVE IT!    He's so funny he already makes me laugh when the husband plays music for him and he starts moving CRAZY!

Food cravings: I feel like it has finally hit me, that I FEEL LIKE I CAN EAT A HORSE starving feeling!  YESTERDAY I felt fine, and then ALL OF A SUDDEN I felt like I was going to pass out from being hungry!  I have a feeling he's going to be a GREAT eater once he gets out!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Still just when I'm hungry!  Other then that not too much.

Maternity Clothes: All I can wear, I even had a meltdown on Saturday for our baby shower when I tried on the dress that I had bought a couple of weeks ago for the baby shower and it didn't fit, I felt so uncomfortable in it, and then I had to search through my closet for something to wear...I officially do NOT FIT IN ANY OF MY pre-maternity clothes UNLESS they were ridiculously long before I got pregnant.

Stretch marks: I have noticed that I got a couple on the very bottom of my stomach...the husband says you can't see them BUT I can see them!  I know they are there and they make me sad :(  Battle wounds of a mother right?  Just gotta keep telling myself that.  AND they aren't as bad as they COULD BE.

Symptoms I HAVE:  Swollen feet
tired...oh the tiredness, i need energy like yesterday
big basketball belly
feeling like I'm going to topple over
clothes not fitting
tired...did I say that already? it's because of how tired I am
an anxious!  I'm so excited for him to get here, but have so much to do before he actually arrives that every time i feel pressure I get worried he might decide that he wants to come out already

Doctor’s Appointment:  they are every single week from now on...so we're definitely getting close

What I'm looking forward to:  finally meeting him :)  I can't wait!!  I went through ALL of his clothes yesterday and we have soooooooo many that they don't fit inside his closet hanging some have to go in drawers, I can't believe how blessed we already are!  AND I can't wait to see what he looks like!

Gender: BOY!!!

Wedding rings on or off: well...they WERE on, but I noticed last week that they were getting a little tight, not when I was wearing them...when I was wearing them I didn't feel them tight at all, BUT they were getting more difficult to get off...so I took them off, but missed them too much and decided it was the weather that was making them so tight, until last night when I tried to take them off, I had to use soap and I had a mark, so I officially took them off, I'm so scared that they will have to be cut off that I'd rather be safe then sorry.

Happy or Moody most of the time: I like to think that I'm Happy most of the time, but I do catch myself becoming moody...especially when it's HOT!

Sleep: well, I guess I'm better off then MOST preggers that say they can't sleep at all, because I can definitely sleep BUT when I wake up I'm still tired!  and often times my arms go to sleep from sleeping on my side...oh man I can't WAIT til the day I can sleep on my back again!!!  I miss that sleep!!

It's OKAY that....

....I wake up EVERY single day @ 6 am (when my alarm goes off at 7)!!  NO it's not but let's pretend

....I had to remind my gma when her bday was :)

....I'm SUPER DUPER excited for my gmas bday dinner next week :)

....I'm getting a little bit of anxiety about LOTS of things happening in the VERY near FUTURE

....I NEED to go to Burlington Coat Factory, BECAUSE I have a $10 coupon off a $10 purchase!  HELLO at the VERY least I can get something for the little baby :)

....I'm ALWAYS hot!!  AND the husband thought he was HOT blooded!

....my students always FIND me on my lunch break and WANT to talk :l

....I've been SOOOOOOO tired the last couple of weeks

....I'm MOSTLY excited to for the weekend so that I can sleep in on Saturday!!

....MOSTLY I'm excited to be home with the baby so that I can cook dinner every night...ummm it MIGHT not happen if baby carter is a fussy baby BUT I can dream right?

....I get SUPER DUPER annoyed when people post things on IG, FB & Twitter about shows that haven't even PLAYED at my house yet!!!  UGH I can't tell you how pissed I was when EVERYONE and their freakin MOM was posting about the SOA episode @ FREAKIN 8 o'clock!!  WTF people I DON'T even get it on TV until 10!!  I have CABLE!!  It's not like I was just being a lazy ass and recording it for the next day!  (can you tell how much it pissed me off?  NOT at all right?)

....it actually ANNOYS me when ANYONE posts about any show...just watch the show people...I don't need a status update on HOW AMAZING IT WAS!  Duhhh I watch it!  I KNOW!!  OR I don't watch it and I don't care!

....this post might sound KINDA mean, but I promise I'm not that mean...some people are just annoying

....I can't believe September is already OVER

....it's funny how much I can feel the baby move, so much that I am used to him moving constantly it's like a way of life...it's gonna be weird when I don't feel it anymore

....we went to a labor & delivery class, and it made me more nervous to push this baby out :l

....we have ANOTHER baby shower this weekend :)

....our bed is SO huge now that I don't even feel the husband at all!  Literally AT ALL...most times I don't even feel like he's in bed with me!

Welcome Fall

I know that loooooooots of people have been talking about Fall and all the things they love about it, SOOOO I decided to give you a couple of things that I LOVE LOVE LOVE about Fall!!  I mean I love all seasons, because I always feel like when it's time for the next season to come, we are COMPLETELY ready for it, I mean I could NEVER live in Hawaii, I head it NEVER gets cool there...I like days when I have to wear boots and scarves (even though people in other states would say that we in CA don't really know what it is to experience the seasons, I like OUR seasons VERY much THANK YOU :D)

So, here are a couple of things, that I'm SUPER excited for now that it's fall!

USUALLY by now, or VERY soon we would be going to the L.A. County Fair, it's so much fun!!  They have the BEST food, the BEST things to buy and watch and do, and we ALWAYS have so much fun...unfortunately we have NOT been able to afford to go to the fair this year :(  it's okay NEXT year we'll have an ALMOST one year old to take and enjoy everything BRAND new!! :D  Can't wait!

Yes, that's a money machine, and NO it wasn't real money BUT we did get to win prizes according to how much money you put in the box, and IF I can remember right the husband did pretty good.

OF COURSE football season!  I mean really?  Who's NOT excited to see some dudes tackle each other, throw a football, kick a football, and just have fun?  Okay and I'll admit I MIGHT be a tiny bit jealous that I can not have a beer while watching Monday night football....sooon (hopefully)

P.S. YES this pictures is blurry BUT how many of you have a picture with a super bowl trophy?  NOT many I'm positive!

Like I've said MANY times before, ALMOST NO one in my entire family has their OWN birthday, actually we figured it out, and the ONLY one that has their OWN birthday is my cousin Brianna AND the only reason that is, is because she was born SUPER premature, at around 24 weeks gestation, so IF she would have been born ON time, she would have been lumped into the June birthdays....so in October is NO different, we start off with my FAVORITE person's birthday!  Which is coming up NEXT week!

 My grandma!  I mean isn't she the cutest little thing you've EVER seen!!?!  Sorry about the blurry picture....it's old and I didn't even take it!

The last couple of years we go to Panda Inn (a SUPER delicious Chinese restaurant) for her birthday because 1.) she LOVES chinese food, and 2.) this ones her FAVORITE!  This was a couple of years ago, not too sure why our faces look like this BUT omg I can't believe how little these kids are :(  They're growing up WAYYY too fast!

In October we also celebrate my Mom's bday & my Aunts and we have a couple of other cousins and great aunts bdays too!

Last year was the SECOND year in a row that we made it to the Pumpkin Patch!  They have it every year at one of the colleges I attended, and it is HUGE!!  I will have to post some pictures of how gigantic it is, but literally ALL you see is Pumpkins!  So pretty!  AND all pumpkins are only $5!  LOVE

YOU better believe we WILL be going back in a couple of weeks :D

Fall signals all my HOLIDAY wreaths coming out!!!  STARTING with Halloween :)

Right after Halloween I get to put out my Thanksgiving one! :D

For some reason they just make me a little happier when I get home!  They're just so cute :)

Then comes one of my FAVORITE holidays!!!!

Halloween

 YESSSSS one year I was a nerd, and YES I did make the husband dress up with me!  HEY that was probably one of the cheapest costumes I EVER was, and I LOVED IT!

Well actually this costume was pretty cheap, it was PUT together @ Rite Aid on Halloween, RIGHT before we went to pass out candy!  The husband was Don King (yep he thought of that ALL on his own and thought it was the BEST idea EVER) and I was a bank robber! :D

The husband and I were cave people last year for my Aunt's Bday party/Halloween party and I LOVED it!  Since we had some left over fabric, because the Husband decided he just wanted to wear a dress my gma joined us!  What a cute cave family we are ha :)  See here my gma is beating up the husband for trying to drag me by my hair!  NO ONE noticed that ha?  :D 

P.S.  YES these costumes were COMPLETELY hand made AND no we did not sew ANYTHING all those years in the sorority really helped me in learning how to make costumes completely out of safety pins and hot glue :)

 The Monsters!  They LOVE Halloween too!  I mean can't you tell?!?  Especially little Fox! :D

AND everyone knows that Halloween is about wearing RIDICULOUS things, so gives me an excuse to wear PINK eyelashes!  LOVED!  I was a witch on actual Halloween, so I wore these eyelashes and a nice witch hat again courtesy of rite aid ON Halloween :D

Fall means my anniversary is coming :)
