Sometimes...life gets in the way of things we want to do with all it's CRAZINESS!!  Somehow I stopped blogging in September & never came back to it :(

Sooooo to catch up I'll give the QUICK highlights!

Carter got super sick more then once including ONE overnight stay at the hospital a semi-surgery (soooo scary!!  But sooooo thankful he's better now!!). TWO ambulance rides, (okay, one MIGHT have been unnecessary BUT I was freaked from the last experience!) 

Carter turned ONE!  Celebrated his first bday which I definitely want to blog about!  AND had the BEST time ever at BOTH his bday party 

& his actual birthday!  :)

We finallyyyyy told EVERYONE about baby #2 :D 

We found out baby #2 is a baby GIRL!!!!  :D!!!

We celebrated our THIRD year of marriage!!

Celebrated the husbands dad's 50th bday!  :)

Found out my closest cousin is ALSO expecting NOT only a baby ONE month before us BUT also a baby girl!  Eeek literally SO excited!!  (They're already gonna be BEST cousins!  They have NO choice!)

We celebrated Halloween 

& Thanksgiving

 & Christmas 

AND New Years!!!

Anddddd we're excited about the new year!  And to see what's in store for us this year and can't wait to welcome baby girl :)

Family Vacation

So this last weekend we spent 5 days in Indio, CA.  If you don't know where Indio is, it's a town a little past Palm Springs, CA.  It's where Coachella is held every year.  Anywho, like I said before this trip has become a family tradition for the last couple of years...the first year we went to Big Bear....then Vegas....then Palm Springs and this year Indio....don't ask where we are going next year because we have NO idea yet.  I don't decide until ummm we absolutely MUST decide!  We'll figure it out once the times comes, until then I'm gonna tell you ALL about our WONDERFUL trip to Indio, CA.

P.S. MOSTLY ALL of the pictures that I am going to post on my blog here are from this girls FaceBook, BUT don't you worry your little heads there is NO way she is going sue me for Copyright laws because, well she's my cousin and her son is my godson and well she loves me too much!  BESIDES she'll probably NEVER write a blog post about the last weekend, cause she's a TERRIBLE blogger now, and likes to blame it on the fact that she doesn't have a computer.  whateva.  BUT in case she does want to sue me I'm going to add #TBJ next to all the pics I jacked from her :)

I KNEW that it was going to be hot, because I asked Siri and she said...

BUT we all figured, it wasn't THAT bad considering that we went to Palm Springs last year and it was RIDICULOUSLY HOT and muggy the whole time, so we hoped for the BEST :) 

P.S. YES it did Rain on Monday, so much in fact that we actually got kicked out of the pool!

We arrived in Indio around 2:30 ish, and ONLY two of our 4 rooms were ready so we hung out with everyone that was there for about 2 or so hours....drinking wonderful Margaritas 

unfortunately it was virgin for me :l #TBJ

We enjoyed the view....and it was 

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!

and this was the day that we were leaving and it was all rainy and gloomy

That was only one of the pools and you can't see all the jacuzzi's that were EVERYONE plus the multiple KIDDIE pools & the LAZY river!!  It was sooooo nice!  Way nicer then I expected it to be that's for sure, and all of the timeshares that my Dad owns are REALLY nice!

We ALL FINALLY got our rooms and I had to go to the store (of course).  You see, beforehand I had set up a MENU for us all to follow so that NOT one family or person got stuck doing all the cleaning or cooking, while someone else did NOTHING.

We were there from Friday (afternoon) until Tuesday morning/afternoon.

I just realized as I am typing this that, all Friday night from when I got there until I went to bed, all I did was get everything ready for the entire weekend, in hopes that meant I could relax the rest of the weekend, so after we ate dinner and my dad arrived we headed to the store to get the rest of our supplies for the THIRTY-TWO people that joined us on this trip.  YES you read that right THIRTY-TWO people!  TWENTY-THREE adults and NINE kids!

yes, it was crazy and YES it was FUN!!

So to not bore you with lots of details I'm going to give you a run down of what we did while there...

We 

WATCHED THE OLYMPICS!

lazyyyyy's AND yes we were under the covers in the 100 degree weather because the room temperature was set to 68!

We 

PLAYED BINGO

 where we thought we would win a SUPER cool prize, and didn't even take the kids with us because we THOUGHT it was Adults only....ya, we were the ONLY adult only table.

As you can see by our faces!  We were ALL shocked we were the only ones without kids! #TBJ

Needless to say with ALL those cards we didn't win NOTHING, NOT even ONCE!

HAPPY 236th BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!

It's Okay Thursday

Hellooooooo, can you believe that it's THURSDAY again?? 

Okay, so it's okay.....

....I'm dying of thirst, but don't want to drink TOO much water because then I'll have to pee in 5 minutes.

....that they called me yesterday to RESCHEDULE my appointment that I had scheduled for today, and when I told them morning or late afternoon they scheduled me for the SAME exact time!  Wouldn't it have been easier to just say "Hey, your doctors out, so & so is going to see you instead"

....I really can't wait for July to get here, JULY did you hear me??  You're taking incredibly too long to make your appearance!

....I HATE my new work schedule!!  AND every single day I want to ask my boss to switch me back, but then I get nervous and continue with the WORST schedule EVER!

....I want ice cream EVERY SINGLE day!  I mean, it's really not for me, it's for Carter, he's like his Dad he LOVES it!

....that the security guard at my work is seriously starting to get on my nerves, WHY must he always ask me a BILLION questions!??!

....I thought RHOC was SUPER hilarious last night when they were making such a HUGE deal about the lady eating the cake!!  I mean it was ridiculous and that girl is just gross BUT I LOVED that they kept yelling "SHE ATE THE BOW!!!"  It still makes me laugh today thinking of Heather's face when she gave her interview, and her Husband's face when she told him, "WHAT!?!  She ATE the bow!?!"  OMG who said the housewives are only drama?  CLEARLY there's comedy too!

....I ate a footlong the other day, when I had full intentions on bringing the other side to work for lunch the next day (again, not my fault, Carter just thinks he's starving)

....that I booked an appt for a 4-D ultrasound, even though I said I would NEVER get one!  (I want to be 100% sure that Carter is a boy!)

....we have a lot of stuff coming up in the next month actually from NOW until Carter gets here!

....that sometimes I try to delete apps from my phone because really I have WAYYY too many, but then I don't end up deleting ANY because I  mean I might need the Spanish again one day, and it's better this way.

....I always forget to change my desk calendar at work so EVERYDAY when I come in I spend 1/2 the morning thinking it's the day before, TODAY I thought it was Wednesday until lunch!

....that I haven't really cooked a meal at all this week, it's the husband's fault really!  I keep telling him let's go to the store, and he NEVER wants to!

....don't want the puppies to go to their new homes BUT they are starting to make a huge mess!

....that the puppies are so cute, I retract my above statement, they can stay FOREVER

....Santiago has been driving us NUTS lately!  ANYONE want to borrow a cute Siamese cat??  (he's even driving the puppies CRAZY, last night he went in their cage, and ALL of them started growling at him to get OUT! FUNNIEST thing that happened all day)
....that I really really really want to CHANGE my blog name, but haven't come up with the PERFECT name yet!  SOON!!!

....that I don't really realize how much I type everything in upper & lower case letters, until I try to write a work email like that (oops)

....I'm OBSESSED with emoji's!  I seriously love using them!  PROBABLY why I'm always typing happy faces on here, because I am deprived of emojis

I have the most amazing husband in the whole world, one that will make me raviolis for dinner even if he hates them because i love them! :)

I am catholic and try to go to church as much as possible, me and the husband were married in a church the same one I did BOTH my baptism & communion at...the same church I went to when I was young, and I can't wait to get Baby L baptized in the same church!

The husband and I have known eachother for over ten years!  and yet have only been dating for 4, yes ladies and gentlemen we were ONLY friends nothing else, I really think it's the reason we work so well together, we never kept things from eachother because we couldnt!  we already knew the good and the bad, sometimes when were at home, i'll look at him and think "what the heck?  how did i end up marrying the dude who i used to wrestle with at work?"  it always amazes me!  but makes for an incredible love story it's making my eyes get teary just thinking about how amazing it was (that or it's the pregnancy hormones?)

I am obsessed with my family, they are that amazing!  Literally!  If you want to know more about them check this out!!  I'm sure you'll love them too!

I can't wait for Baby L to get here, and even though I get anxiety thinking about where we're gonna live, and how we're gonna do it, I get so excited thinking about it!  I can't wait to see what 1/2 of the husband & 1/2 of me is going to look like!

I have THREE beasts that reside inside my home, Mr. Fox McCloud, Miss Marlee Muffin & Mr. Santiago Ignacio, and I talk allllllllll about them in this post! :D  and have recently added to our household FOUR tiny puppies the product of Mr McCloud & Miss Muffin (yes they're married!)  and you can see how cute they're here!!  I love them, and I still want to keep them all!

My husband laughs at me when I tell him something exciting that happened to one of the people who's blog I read!  JERK!

I have my bachelors degree in teaching, a teaching credential and a masters in education and still can't find a full time teaching job in CA it's really ridiculous!  So ridiculous that often times I think "why didnt' i listen to my dad when he told me to be a business major, so I could make lots of money" :(  BUT I love teaching, I pray everday sometimes opens up for me, I guess the perfect position just hasn't found me yet!

I was in a sorority for three years, and when people talk bad about them it makes me so mad!  It was the MOST fun I have ever had in my whole life and I would recommend joining a NATIONAL sorority/fraternity to anyone!  It made college that much more fun!  And memories for a lifetime!

I lived without health insurance for seven months and almost every single day i worried about it.  it was so frustrating and sad, I would often think that if something terrible would happen (car accident) we would be so poor we would never be able to afford a house or anything that we want to accomplish in the years to come.  Therefore, anyone that doesn't understand the importance of universal heathcare drives me crazy, because every single one of these people i have met, HAVE HEALTHCARE :(

I am obsessed with my iPhone.  Litearlly I could not ever imagine myself buying a different type of phone EVER!  Actually I'm obsessed with all things Apple related, I just love all of their stuff so much!!  Next up new iMac!!  I have been drowling over the HUGE screen for years!  and once we move we have decided to finally invest in one!  :D

I LOVE football!  And am often explaining this to the husband, he doesn't love football so much!  I don't know how he couldn't it's so much fun!

I like when people spell their kids names a unique way like instead of an "i" putting a "y" or vice versa, BUT I can't stand when parents try TOO hard to make thier normal kids names ridiculous!  Ashley turns into Ashilieey...way over dramatic for my taste and as a teacher/substitute teacher it's kinda annoying for both me and the poor kid

I lived in Fresno for 3 1/2 years and even though it was super hot in summer and super cold in winter it was so much fun!  I'm so glad that I picked there to go to college!  Go Bulldogs!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE reading blogs, I think it is so much fun...even if my husband things I'm weird!!  My fave cousin knows exactly how I feel because we follow a lot of the same people and will call/text eachother when one of our faves gets some amazing news!  :)

I have seen the "If we had coffee" blog on a couple of different blogs recently and I thought it would be cool to try out :) So here it is,
If we had coffee...

I would tell you that I have recently become more appreciate for my husband I really didn't think I could love anyone as much as I love him, and it is true that you love them more and more as time goes by, I thought I loved him when we got married and now over a year later it feels like I love him a hundred times as much as I did before.

I would tell you that I have been thinking about life a lot recently and I'm literally driving myself CRAZY!

I would also try and explain to you my LOVE for pho right now! It is sooooo good and if you haven't tried it you need to get up and yelp where the best one is near you! I love love love it!!!! It's a Vietnamese soup and it's basically just noddles with very thin slices of meat in it and sprouts and hot sauce but it is definitely my FAVORITE food right now!


I would also tell you all about my VERY fun trip to Disneyland this last weekend! Let me tell you we didn't get home until after one AM and even though we have season passes I haven't stood there until closing umm probably since I was ten! We had a blast though!

Obviously she wasn't scared on this ride AT ALL!!

I would also talk about how I would much rather be blogging or reading blogs then cleaning my house, but I must do it, so this coffee would have to go fast!

Oh, and I would also talk about all of my FAVORITE reality TV shows! I swear I can't get enough I'm sure my love gets mad about it, because he ABSOLUTELY hates them! BUT I think it might be an addiction and I can't get enough of them!
